There's still a whisper

This photograph just seems to give off a countryside-esque vibe to me. The lighting, the porcelain cup with the flower design, the area it is sitting on, and the beautiful flower itself. To me, it seems like someone found a flower during a dry season, picked it, and putting in in a cup of water on the windowsill, showing us that no matter what, there still is hope.

The lighting gives it a very peaceful, serene mood. It looks almost as if someone turned off the lights and just the the sunshine is come through the window and lighting up the dim house. Even just looking at it tends to lull me a bit. . .

The subject (The red flower), in my view, has some symbolism to it. It reminds us that even during tough times, we can hope and grow during them, like a daisy in a porcelain mug.

I also like how the background was blurred, showing us the real subject of the picture: The flower. The mug is blurred as well, leaving the flower crisp, bright and drawn to the attention of the picture.

Overall, this picture is absolutely marvelous. The lighting gives off a calm vibe, and the flower looks very pretty. It secretly has a message behind it: No matter what you go through, you will rise, and you will shine.
