I didnt i am texas but i heard it was a 5.9 , which is very strong... i heard on the bbc/npr news and radio, that one minor one hit 2 days ago in south colorado and northern new mexico. i hope all are okay

My twin sister and I were at college waiting for our next class. We were just sitting on a bench reading when we feel this big shake. Then, one of the professors goes around and starts yelling out, "Earthquake! Everyone out of the building!" On my 18th birthday, no less. I may never forget it.

Yup, I'm in Virginia. I was taking a nap at the time and yelled at my cats to stop moving, thinking they were causing the shaking. Of course, my sleepy brain eventually realized they couldn't possibly cause it to shake that much lol.

I'm in Georgia... can't say I felt much of anything.

I sometimes feel like my heartbeat is strong enough to move me and the chair I'm sitting in, so originally I thought that's what was it.
Then I thought someone was moving some really heavy furniture upstairs, but heavy enough to shake the house...?

And then I saw all the facebook posts about the earthquake. XD

I live in Louisiana so I didn't feel anything. But I did watch the news and hear about it! YIKES! 5.9!

I've been hearing about the earthquake. I live on the complete opposite side of the country in Washington.

there was one last night near me in colorado... really surprised me. my cat cried...
