i remember when i stoped believing in Santa. My older brother gathered me and my parents at the tABLE WHEN HE WAS like 10 ( i would have been about 8) and asked them, then they told us and my mom cried it was actually pretty cute.
Santa Clause was a real person, St. Nicolas to us, Sinter Klass to the Dutch which turned into the name Santa Clause as we know it. A wonderful man who followed Jesus' teachings and gave all his wealth and possessions to the people who needed it. To celebrate him and remember him reinforces this ideal of caring and goodwill. Let's see through the eyes of a child and not be jaded, bitter adults! Yes I believe in Santa! Thank you St. Nick for the good you did and wonderful traditions you created.
Now commercialized Christmas is a totally different story!!
~ my parents told me when i was a little child that santa didn't exist. why is it people teach their children to believe in the one thing that actually doesn't exist? and the second they have to believe in something that does, they have no faith, nor the capacity to believe at all. and all from one silly little childhood lie.
Its hard to say I do, but I do believe in the tradition of following Santa. Btw, (not to anger anyone out there), but I found it interesting that some could refer santa to Satan. I mean if you jumble the letters around, and also notice that santa is wearing Red >reference to Satan? I just found it interesting since my English teacher brought it up before winter break.
I however, have noticed, I am the one wrapping these gifts I buy from stores and eating the cookies and warm milk in midst of the night... thus, I do not believe no fat guy with flying reindeer is sneaking through my chimney!
not actually the myth but I do believe in the spirit of & it can be found in the person next to really. Like if someone takes the attributes of "Santa Claus" & reflects that onto others around them. You know, they way they act etc... Am I making sense?

I don't believe in Santa
Chris Cringle and Saint Nicholas I do believe in, but they're different people than Santa Claus
