Taken in Bryant Park, NYC when I got trapped under a sudden downpour.
But it was such a cozy rain. <3

This photograph remains my favorite of all your work, and i have absolutely no idea why. It's beautiful, yes, it's a supremely well-captured action shot, and so colorful! But something else still draws me to it and i really really don't know what it is. I've given this an Impact rating of 4.5 stars because it's not really the first thing to grab the attention upon looking at your gallery, but for me, it's your most skilled work to date.

Vision: 5 Stars because it's so so lovely and the background of the outdoor furniture and bright plants pulls the image together, and the grass growing between the cobbles adds interest too

Originality: 5 Stars too because i do believe this to be original in the way you captured it and colored it.

Technique: 5 Stars because this is very nicely done and no one can possibly ask you to try and get falling rain in focus, so it's perfect; In my opinion

Impact: 4.5 Stars for the reasons i stated earlier, but like i say, i think it's your best work so far.

I really love this photo. There's something almost alluring about it- makes me want to go dance in the rain! I think I like the colors best- they are very warm and soothing. You captured a very interesting moment here- it is busy, but not overly so. The chair and flowers in the back make it interesting, as do the neat textured sidewalk type ground in the front- sort of reminds me of those old-style cobblestone paths. Overall it is a very interesting piece- keeps my attention, but isn't overly busy.

I think the only negative thing I can say about this piece (and it's very minor) is that the focus seems a little off. I don't want to say that it's blurry, because it's not really..but I think it could be a little sharper and clearer, though that's really a matter of personal opinion.

Overall, I absolutely ADORE this photo- very nice shot.
