Edit: I'm getting a lot of questions about this photo, so here are some answers. No, this isn't Photoshopped. I was very lucky to be there on a great autumn day when it was foggy, but there was still enough light to produce that effect. It was taken in Forest Park, NYC.
I love depth shots like this in particular. Color hues in this picture are amazing and are characteristic of a shot that was either very well planned or really lucky. You had to be in the right place at the right time with the right weather to get a shot this awesome. I could only give you four stars for originality because I see quite a few rail way pictures, but you're cream of the crop as far as I am concerned. Your wonderful use of nature, angles, and light pulls this shot into one of the best I've seen.
I have to start out by saying this is such an incredible shot. In this case you were at the right place and at the right time. The glow of the red leaves is magnificent, and how it all fades to the lighter orange is just so lovely. This has a very strong impact because of its brightness and its clearness of the shot. You also have it at a good angle. For originality I gave you a 4 because there are many rail road/ train track photo's, if there weren't I would have given it a 5/5 stars. Such a fantastic job, I wish I could describe it better and also give you a better critique but I'm not very good at giving them. Utterly fantastic job.
Aye or Nay..on my page kidd.......great CSS...... If you feel stalked..tell me.. I WILL back off.(.NOTE)..i had fun finding you kidd...Well...(remember no using DAD)
This is truly amazing. I love the way that everything fades into the golden glow where the tree line vanish. not to mention the bold reds that flare at the sides of the tracks are truly inspirational to make me try harder to create a work of art that's even slightly comparable to this.
I ADORE trains! I've grown up with a train track nearby all my life, both at home and work, and one of my dreams is to ride a passenger train and get the full dining car/sleeping car/lounge car experience. Your photo is one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever come across!
